16th Annual Del Rio Rotary Independence Day Rodeo Rodeo Kick-Off Block Party Friday, July 2, 2021, from 6-10 p.m. by Mesquite Creek Outfitters, 800 South Main Street, in Del Rio. There will be food, beverages, and live music to kick off the rodeo weekend! Independence Day Rodeo Saturday, July 3 & Sunday, July 4, 2021, Gates open at 6:30 p.m., Rodeo begins at 8 p.m. Val Verde County Fairgrounds, 2006 North Main Street, in Del Rio. This family-friendly rodeo will have mutton busting for kids, barrel racing, calf roping, bull riding, and more. Trick Riders will perform amazing stunts on galloping horses! All proceeds from the rodeo will be returned to the community to support scholarships for local students, Rotary Park improvements, the donation of school supplies to local Elementary schools, etc. Don't miss out on this major event in Del Rio this summer!
