Our Guest Speaker last week was Jessica Lee Hamlin Executive Director of Shumla Archaeological Research & Education Center. Mrs. Hamlin spoke about their mission that is to preserve the oldest “book” in North America - the rock art murals painted in the canyons. In addition, how Shumla’s four-year effort to dig-itally document the art of the Lower Pecos has become a reality and how the organization’s plans.
