Rotary Club District Governor Xavier Toson informed me that there will be two trucks transporting drinking water to south Texas, one truck from Florida and the other from another state. The trucks may be here in 1-3 days. At least one of the trucks will be coming to Del Rio.
We will need Rotarians to help unload the truck(s) and distribute the water. I do not know the size of the truck or when it will be here. When District Governor Toson finds that out, he will share the information with me, and I will let you know.
I reached out to Emergency Management Coordinator John Sheedy to find out where he thinks we should stage the truck. I will let you know what he says.
