Help us in welcoming Leslie started her career as a Park Ranger Aide at a city park in Hampton, Virginia. The park consisted of 450 acres of unique, and rich wetland areas.  Her next move was to work for the National Forest Service as a forestry technician at the Coconino National Forest.  The experience she gained there helped her move on to the National Park Service in Florida. While she worked at Canaveral National Seashore as an Interpretive Park Ranger, she was able to develop leadership skills. After working for the Bureau of Land Management for 6 years, Leslie came back to the National Park Service as a Chief of Interpretation and Resource Manager.  It is a sense of pride that Leslie is a public servant.
